ADV. MAJ GEN NILENDRA KUMAR

The National Defense Academy and Indian Military Academy prepared him for commission in Artillery in 1969 and take part in Indo-Pak war, 1971. A product of Lucknow University, he was transferred to the Judge Advocate General’s department in 1982. He was Judge Advocate General of the Indian Army from 2001-08 and was awarded twice for distinguished service. He headed the Amity Law School, Noida from 2009 – 16. The school was selected for the coveted Institutional Excellence Award 2013. He teaches Interpretation of Statutes, Law Poverty & Development, Professional Ethics and Media Law.

He is a prolific writer having authored 19 books of which many have seen multiple editions. He has presented papers at conferences in India and abroad on HR, IHL, Military and security laws, Ethics in corporate & & governance, Academic Excellence, Motivation & team building, faculty development, career option for law students, creative writing in law, Gandhi as a lawyer. He regularly appears as a panelist/expert on TV.

He served on the Management Advisory Committee of Indian Parliaments (Lower House)’s TV and also on the Internship Advisory Committee of the House. He is a Director of International Society of Military Law & Law of War and elected to Executive Committee of Indian Society of International Law. He is also a member of International Society of Law Deans and Indian Council of Arbitration. He is the Founder Director of Lex Consilium Foundation and President of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhi Pradhyapak Sangam.

PROF. (DR.) KANWAL D.P. SINGH

Prof (Dr) Kanwal DP Singh is part of academics since the year 1999 in the public funded university in New Delhi, India. She Joined University School of Law and Legal studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in the May 2013 as Professor and served as the Dean of Law School from 2016-19. She is currently also heading the Legal Aid Centre of GGSIPU supported by Delhi State Legal Service authority.

Prof Kanwal has been involved in projects and workshops conducted by National Commission for Women, and Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. Prof Singh has also been convener of National moot in her university for almost two decades. She has been working in areas of Poverty and Human rights on research schemes funded by the university.

She is Vice President of Asian Association of Law Professors (AALP) and Life Member of several legal institutions like Indian Law Institute, New Delhi; Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi; Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary studies and Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA). She has presented numerous research papers in international Conferences in India and abroad. Prof Kanwal has been principal investigator in action taken projects funded by Department of Justice, Government of India. She has written three books in areas of land laws and law and society. She has also published actively in Sage journals and Elseiver platform.

DR. ASHA VERMA

It is my proud privilege to be associated with this school as it was my sincere heartfelt desire to be a part of the legacy left behind by my dear student Utkarsh. A wonderful student and a great human being who always exhibited warmth and affection towards everyone. He lived eternally and the legacy of love, compassion, humanity and a vibrant life that he has left behind remains unaffected. Within a short span of time his life was a revelation of the essence of love, empathy, hope and thoughtfulness. I am sure that every child of this school will shine like a star just as Utkarsh was.

DR. GEETANJALI CHANDRA

Dr Geetanjali Chandra has completed a successful stint of more than 19 years of teaching in Higher education sector in India and abroad along with NGO, Court Practise for almost 8 years.In 2011 re-located to offshore campus Amity University Dubai. Dr Geetanjali has worked in diverse roles ranging from Head of Law Program , Faculty of Corporate Laws and Management Sciences, Curriculum Developer and Mentoring. She is actively involved in research And associated member University Board of studies active member of representing team among Accreditation agency like WASC, IACBE, BCI.

Presented papers in International & National forums like; Inpalms ,AALCO,(ICRC) International committee of red cross, Indian society of International Law, Indian Law Institute New Delhi, Indian… Presently working as CEO to LedX edutech private Itd With additional responsibilities of Director Global Relation Indore Institute of Law Indore MP.

MRS. ANJU DHEMAN

Mrs. Anju Dheman is an educational professional with an accomplished work history of thirty-nine years. She has worked with the Delhi Public School Society for thirty-six years and was the Principal of DPS Kuwait from 2008 to 2019. She joined DAR AL SALAM group in 2020 as the Founder Principal of ASPIRE INDIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Kuwait. A dedicated, resourceful educational professional with proven ability to lay down educational objectives, create and implement policies for child centric learning environment and develop school systems that encourage continuous empowerment for teachers and students.

ADV. CHAYAN SARKAR

Hails from the small industrial city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, completed Law from Amity Law School in 2011. Joined the bar and assisted as a junior counsel in the 2G Spectrum Scam case amongst other cases. Co-founded KIAA, LLP- one of the youngest law firms in the country which is also recognized as one of the few legal start-ups by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Joined the global think tank, Global Counter Terrorism Council as its core team member and was instrumental in establishing the forum in its initial days. Was awarded the Alumni Achievers Award by Amity University in 2017. Have been frequently invited as a judge at Willem C Vis international commercial arbitration moot court competition held at Hong Kong.

Argued several cases for home buyers under the new insolvency and bankruptcy code and was instrumental in bringing unincorporated joint ventures between land owners and developers under the purview of the new Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, which eventually changed the law on the said subject matter. Also argued numerous cases before The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on behalf of home buyers and real estate allottees in stuck real estate projects in Delhi NCR. Appeared as the lead counsel in the Crypto Currency Scam cases before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and was instrumental in getting ex parte bail orders in the same.

Have been a guest speaker at the International Conference of Jurists, New Delhi. Currently, looking after litigation at KIAA LLP and predominantly dealing in criminal, civil and company matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and other courts. Also appearing as the lead counsel in the crypto currency scam trial. During the lockdown started the initiative C@LL (Care @ Legal) for providing free legal aid to the weaker sections of the society along with running a 24-hour helpline for domestic violence and other sexual offences against women. As a hobby, love to do theater and have acted in several plays in Delhi.

ADV. (MS.) PRERNA ARORA

Founder & Managing Partner , M/s Kosha Legal LLP, New Delhi Prerna is Founder & Managing Partner at M/s. Kosha Legal LLP, started her career as a media lawyer in Mumbai until she returned to New Delhi for the love of court craft. Today she runs her own practice under the firm Kosha Legal LLP with special emphasis on Intellectual Property Rights and the whole gamut of connected litigation. Her legal strategy and advisory practice amongst other things spans over a wide spectrum of sectors like FMCG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Real Estate etc. Splitting her time between Delhi and Mumbai, she negotiates drafts and enforces complex agreements and all fallout litigation.

She is an empaneled lawyer with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee also dedicates her time to the cause of underprivileged litigants. However, when she is not suing people, she likes to dabble in dance and theater as her passion.
